The Aurora condo lifestyle
Condo buying in Aurora is mostly a lifestyle decision, not a market-timing one. The people who land here are typically downsizers from a detached home, professionals who want walkable proximity to Yonge and the GO without the maintenance burden of a freehold, or first-time buyers who'd rather have a one-bedroom in Aurora than a comparable unit in Vaughan or Richmond Hill.
Aurora condo inventory is concentrated in three sub-pockets. Aurora Heights has the most established condo stock, older buildings, more accessibly priced, well-located. Bayview Wellington carries the diverse mid-market mix. Aurora Estates surfaces fewer condos but the ones that do appear tend to be larger, higher-finish units with premium views.
